Harry and Meghan are living their life to the fullest, and their recent three-day trip to Nigeria, where they were treated as if they were still working royals, infuriated members of the Firm.
However, it appears that the Sussexes don’t care what Harry’s family thinks of their behavior. They allegedly have great plans for the future, including their children, Archie and Lilibet, who will soon enter public life.
When Harry and Meghan left Britain, they decided to settle in the United States. They initiated several initiatives and signed arrangements with Netflix and Spotify, among others. Harry’s book Spare created quite a sensation, and now Meghan has launched her upscale lifestyle business American Riviera Orchard.
As of Britain, they no longer have a place to stay in Harry’s homeland because King Charles made a decision to evict them from Frogmore Cottage, their now former home. The place is now a residence of Prince Andrew.
Despite losing their house in Britain, the Duke and Duchess maintained their HRH titles. Following Queen Elizabeth’s death, their children received the titles of Prince and Princess. “Since their grandpa became monarch, the children have had titles as a birthright. This situation has been resolved for some time in accordance with Buckingham Palace,” a couple official stated at the time.
The decision to give their children royal titles confused many as one of the reasons the Sussexes left the Firm was to lead quieter lives. Additionally, they initially thought these titles would be a burden to their children, but later changed their minds because they wanted Archie and Lilibet to decide whether to keep or drop their titles when they get older.
When asked about Archie and Lilibet’s royal titles, royal expert Angela Levin told Sky, “It will take a long time for little Lilibet to realize the extent of the burden her parents have placed on her young shoulders.” By bestowing a royal title on their daughter, Harry and Meghan “glued her to the British Royal Family,” an institution they have harshly attacked over the years.
Why on earth would you want your daughter to experience such anguish?” Levin asked. “Little girls obviously love being a princess at parties, but if Lilibet is the only one in the class who is a real princess, it could lead to jealousy that could easily be avoided,” she concluded.
Author Phil Dampier described their three-day visit as “ironic” because the Sussexes had previously denounced the Commonwealth.
“It’s ironic that the late Queen wanted Harry and Meghan to very much be her ambassadors throughout the Commonwealth and spread goodwill among its fifty or so nations, but they didn’t want to do it as royals,” Dampier stated to the Daily Mail.
“Now they are happy to pick and choose invitations they receive from these countries.” Further, he suggested the Sussexes are trying “to set up a rival court, their own royal roadshow.”
Back in 2019, Archie joined his mom and dad at a royal tour in South Africa.
“Meghan is acutely aware of what a great look this will be – the charming royal couple with their charming royal children will attract the sort of publicity that Harry and Meghan crave, especially now that they are so determined to be billionaire entrepreneurs,” Quinn stated to the Mirror.
The royal analyst continued, “While Harry and Meghan go on with their increasingly prominent royal lives, Kate and William are left floundering and Meghan and Harry know it.”
