Expert has controversial theory about ‘real reason’ behind Melania Trump’s unusual behaviour during Trump’s Congress speech

A body language expert has put forward a controversial theory regarding First Lady Melania Trump’s unusual reaction during her husband’s speech to Congress this week.

Melania, 54, could be seen in the crowd as President Trump delivered the 90-minute talk on Tuesday (4 March), highlighting his accomplishments thus far in office and his intentions for the future.

In addition to discussing his goals, trade tariffs, and the situation in Ukraine, Trump spoke extensively about border security and the accomplishments made since his swearing in.

He told Congress: “Within hours of taking the oath of office, I declared a national emergency on our southern border. And I deployed the US military and Border Patrol to repel the invasion of our country. And what a job they’ve done. As a result, illegal border crossings last month were by far the lowest ever recorded ever.

“They heard my words and they chose not to come. Much easier that way. In comparison, under Joe Biden, the worst president in American history, there were hundreds of thousands of illegal crossings a month and virtually all of them, including murderers, drug dealers, gang members, and people from mental institutions and insane asylums, were released into our country.

“Who would want to do that?”

While the Republican party erupted in excitement and got up from their seats to applaud, Melania remained seated.

Since then, thousands have taken to social media to raise the same question: Why did Melania remain seated?

One body language specialist has weighed in with a somewhat controversial opinion.

Truthplane’s Mark Bowden analysed Melania’s body language for Sportsbook Review. He told: “Melania did not stand alongside all the upper gallery and the Trump supporters below her in the house when Trump talked of his mass deportation initiative. Could this have been a signal that some of his ideas do not fit with her view?

“Certainly, she made no facial signals of disgust or disdain as she remained singularly seated.

“Nevertheless, given that her own parents’ US citizenship is due to the ‘chain migration’ process that Trump and his supporters have publicly denounced, it seems fair to assume she may be wanting to be seen as taking a stand – or seat – around that issue.”

Melania stood up as Trump lauded her as a ‘magnificent first lady’.

“I also want to recognise another person who has devoted herself to foster care, community, she works so hard on it. Very loving person, our magnificent first lady of the United States,” he said.

“Melania’s work has yielded incredible results, helping prepare our nation’s future leaders as they enter the work force. Our first lady is joined by two impressive young women, very impressive, Haley Ferguson, who benefited from the first lady’s Fostering the Future initiative, and is poised to complete her education and become a teacher.

“And Elliston Berry, who became victim of an illicit deepfake image produced by a peer. With Elliston’s help, the Senate just passed the Take It Down Act.”
