During the first episode of Meghan Markle’s new podcast, she talked about a’scary’ health condition she had after pregnancy.
The Duchess of Sussex debuted her new podcast Confessions Of A Female Founder today (8 April), and she unexpectedly spoke up about a health concern she experienced after her pregnancies.
The podcast comes after a flurry of new projects for the mother-of-two, including her Netflix show With Love, Meghan and her lifestyle line As Ever.

During the program, the royal spoke with Whitney Wolfe Herd, the creator of dating service Bumble, to discuss the hurdles she confronts as a CEO and how she got there.
The couple bonded over a health ailment they both had after giving birth, which Meghan claimed was a’scary’ time in her life.
“We had very similar postpartum experiences, although not knowing one other at the time, and we both suffered preeclampsia. Meghan discussed postpartum preeclampsia.
The 43-year-old spoke about dealing with the condition while also trying to maintain her life in the public eye.
She said: “You’re still trying to juggle all of these things, and the world doesn’t know what’s happening quietly.
“And in the quiet, you’re still trying to show up for people mostly for your children but those things are huge medical scares.”
Her guest agreed about the severity of the situation, and added: “I mean life or d3ath, truly.”

According to the Mayo Clinic, postpartum preeclampsia is a “rare condition that occurs when you have high blood pressure and excess protein in your urine shortly after childbirth.”
