Never reply when you are angry. Never make a promise when you are happy. Never make a decision when you are sad.

You should never make decisions when you are sad. You will not be concious enough to make the right decision. Let your emotions stabilize and calm down, then think deeply before doing anything. By that way, you can do the right things.
