Parents Organize “Gender Reveal” Party For Their 8-Year-Old After She Says She Doesn’t “Feel Like A Boy”

Ella Scott, a six-year-old Canadian toddler, told her parents she felt like a female despite being born in a boy’s physique. Her parents initially assumed it was a phase, but they quickly discovered her true identity as a transgender youth. Ella’s parents totally supported her decision to transition, rather than rejecting it. When Ella reached eight years old, they held a gender reveal party to commemorate this significant occasion.

Ella’s mother, Nikki, noted how her daughter’s femininity was clear from an early age, as she enjoyed playing with girls and dolls. Ella’s transition to girlhood began at the age of six, when she began dressing like a girl and expressing her true self. Ella’s parents, initially confused of how to assist her, learned about transgender people and encouraged their daughter to share her views.

Despite concerns about Ella’s treatment by society and the possibility of bullying, her parents were resolved to prioritize her happiness and authenticity. The gender reveal party was an opportunity for them to show their unfailing love and support for their daughter, making her feel celebrated and valued for who she actually is.
