In an incredible turn of events, a baby named Karson defied the odds and lived beyond all medical predictions. Karson was born with severe medical difficulties, including a left temporal lobe hemorrhage and a rare genetic disease known as non-ketotic hyperglycinemia.
Karson’s mother took the courageous step to face the heartbreaking decision to remove him from life support. The family was prepared for the worst, given the medical staff’s prognosis that he wouldn’t breathe on his own.
However, a miracle happened. Against all predictions, Karson immediately began breathing independently after the ventilator was removed.
