Pregnant Mom Termed ‘Evil & Selfish’ For Begging Husband To Save HER Over Their BABY If Labor Goes Wrong
A mother is revealing her heartbreak after she was branded ‘evil and selfish’ for asking her husband to choose her over their child.
While the mother chose to remain anonymous with her identity, she went all out about her personal family affair.
Speaking to viewers on Reddit, the mum claimed she had just recovered from gestational diabetes and was really scared about giving birth, fearing the worst.
As you know, being a mother for the first time is not an easy task and the fear of having a baby can be daunting for many people. Therefore, when this mother revealed that the doctors had cast doubt on her vaginal delivery and agreed to give her a cesarean section, she certainly didn’t take the news too well.
“There were a million things that were going through my mind at that time. I feared for the worst because I did not want to go under the knife to have my baby delivered. I thought of all sorts of complications and hearing other people’s stories really frightened me,” she began to explain.
Therefore, that is one of the main reasons why she tells her husband that in the event that things don’t go according to plan and there could be complications, she wants him to reassure her about the matter. For this reason, she asks him to save her, instead of her child.
Apparently, this decision shocked her husband as he never expected to be in such a position. But after a few seconds of silence, he nodded.
Thankfully, the cesarean section went well and both the baby and mother are perfectly fine. However, after hearing her story, the young mother’s friends felt it was the most selfish thing any mother could say or think. And now, other people’s opinions are really letting her down.
