Following Hurricane Beryl’s landfall in Caribbean nations such as Grenada, Trinidad & Tobago, and Venezuela, the Prince and Princess of Wales made private donations to recovery operations.
We know that the Prince and Princess of Wales are contributing money to relief operations on a private basis. They are still closely monitoring Hurricane Beryl’s consequences. The Category 5 hurricane is currently heading for Jamaica, where the royal couple toured in 2022.
Unfortunately, 16 people had perished as of July 3rd, mostly in Venezuela, but also in Grenada and St. Vincent and the Grenadines. Over $1 billion in damage has been documented so far.

William and Catherine’s royal visit of the Caribbean in 2022 included a stop in Jamaica. Trench Town, Bob Marley’s hometown, was one of the highlights of their trip.
During their visit to the town, the Prince and Princess rode a two-person bobsleigh and posed for a selfie with members of the famed bobsleigh team that inspired the film Cool Runnings.
Later, the now-famous photo was shared on the Jamaica Bobsleigh & Skeleton team’s official Instagram account, to which the royal couple responded.

William and Catherine responded to the post with, “Lovely to meet you all today.” They posted it again on Instagram Stories along with the caption, “Selfie for the archives.”
In 2021, William donated money to a nonprofit that helps the families of fallen rangers. The royal couple has a history of making individual donations to organizations close to their hearts.
In a tweet, the Thin Green Line Foundation stated: “We are very grateful to The Duke of Cambridge for his recent support through our Fallen Ranger Fund for the families impacted by the devastating loss of six Rangers at Virunga National Park in January.”
William responded to the attack at the time by saying, “I strongly condemn the actions of those responsible for the horrific attack on staff at the Virunga National Park. It is abhorrent.”
“Rangers should be honored, not attacked, for their tireless efforts to safeguard the nearby communities as well as the national park. Never should they be in a situation where their lives are in jeopardy.”
