Vince Hietpas, 11, and his father, Lorenzo, found a wallet on the ground while walking through a park. Upon inspection, the father and son from Green Bay, Wisconsin, discovered a driver’s license with an address. When Vince visited the given address with the purpose of returning the wallet to its legitimate owner, he was surprised to discover an unexpected gift.
Chase Dahlke, 17, was not at home when Vince called, so his father, Jason, thanked Vince for recovering Chase’s wallet but could only offer him a few bucks. Jason was amazed by the kindness of another person. When Chase’s stepmother learned of Vince’s charitable act, she was motivated to do more than merely give him money.
