Sue Palmer, from America, woke up feeling ill one day. She began vomiting and was suffering from nausea. Thinking that the problem was food poisoning, she decided to go back to bed and wait for it to pass. Yet, her husband insisted she went to the doctor, and he turns out to save her life!
“If she went back to bed like she planned to that morning, she wouldn’t have woken up,” says Sue’s husband.
Sue recalls that she joked about the subject in the emergency room – the idea that she suffered a heart attack was silly, as she felt normal. The first electrocardiogram didn’t show anything unusual, but soon the doctors realized that Sue must have an immediate surgery!
Waking up after the procedure, Sue was informed that she suffered a heart attack. It began just when she got to the hospital – her coronary artery was blocked by 10%, while her core was blocked by 70%. If she didn’t have surgery, Sue would’ve d.i.e.d.
