Why do men get so, so angry when they are ᴄʜᴇᴀᴛᴇᴅ
on?

To a generally accepted orientation of not being able to help themselves when it comes to ᴄʜᴇᴀᴛting, men seem to despise being undermined excessively. Why? The story that has been skirted around the issue of ᴄʜᴇᴀᴛing for a long time is that men cheat more than women, yet they are more damaged and distressed and angry when they discover they have been undermined.

1. They know that ᴄʜᴇᴀᴛing, for women, is only for emotional purposes

When women ᴄʜᴇᴀᴛ, it is for emotional reasons. Women do not ᴄʜᴇᴀᴛ for physical reasons, and for the most part it is not for sexual gratification. It has been said that the need to bridge an emotional gap, to bridge some emotional vacuum is what drives women to participate in affairs.

So for men, knowing that the woman has emotionally let go and that her time is probably up makes ᴄʜᴇᴀᴛing an extra-uneasy pill to swallow for them.

2. The inner self resists a gunshot

While ladies are [inexplicably] embarrassed and humiliated when their accomplice undermines them, men regard betrayal as an insult to their self-image. They presumably feel that being undermined is the highest kind of inconsideration ever, which makes it that much more challenging for their stomachs.

Since, you know, men think they deserve consideration as an inheritance.

3. They never see it coming

The typical man, regardless of how careless, relationship stunted, problematic and risky he is, still feels he deserves devotion and may well never, for his existence, imagine that his angel has it in her to dump him or ᴄʜᴇᴀᴛ with another man.

4. ᴄʜᴇᴀᴛing is for men

Insane, isn’t it? However, it is definitely valid. Some men are molded to believe that leading ladies are undermined. They believe that doing so is being a down man. ᴄʜᴇᴀᴛing is a normal thing for men. A lady ᴄʜᴇᴀᴛing is… simply unacceptable. In any case, when it is a man, it may very well be excusable, logical, there may be a viable method to legitimize it, it may very well be rationalized, put into some viewpoints that make it less problematic.

However, a lady ᴄʜᴇᴀᴛing…and God protect us…a married lady?! Nah. That is exceedingly outrageous. Best sin ever.

5. Have been devoted from the beginning

As mentioned above, betrayal is painted to appear to be from a man on the down low. So when a man decides to remain devoted to his better half or accomplice, he assumes he deserves some decoration. Some additional focus on coolness by being the person who doesn’t ᴄʜᴇᴀᴛ, lest he be compensated with ᴄʜᴇᴀᴛing.
